During “The Big Iftar”, we will be breaking the fast with our Muslim friends and neighbours.

During the sunlight hours of Ramadan, no food or water may pass the lips of a practicing Muslim (some exceptions are made for age and health). While abstaining from food, Muslim’s should seek to lead a more spiritual life by giving to charity, supporting those in need, and appreciating God’s gifts.

We will gather at 8pm for stories and a time to talk. This is a chance to find out more about each other, to reach across cultural divides and be neighbourly. At 9.24pm we will open the fast, sharing food together.
