MTA EID DINNER
The Muslim Teachers Association held a successful dinner in the esteemed restaurant Saffron Kitchen on Lea Bridge Road. The event was attended by educators, as well as others who are interested in education. Guests were treated to a diverse starter, followed by main meal and dessert. The event provided a great opportunity for networking and discussions related to the current changes to the educational sector. With rapid changes to the educational curriculum in both primary and secondary schools, teachers become central figures in ensuring students as well as parents come to grasp with these changes ahead of exams. Although at times, this large task may seem daunting for many teachers, gatherings and events such as these provide a critical platform for networking as well as sharing best practice ideas. Consequently, the event proved to be highly successful with all attendees and the Muslim Teachers Association looks forward to holding a bigger and better event next year insha Allah.
